Sustainability has a high priority in our company. We are always trying to improve and optimize our sustainable behavior and actions.
The origin of the energies used in the company plays a decisive role here. A PV system installed on the roof in 2020 produces around 350 MWh per year. In this way, we succeed in ensuring that our company is almost completely supplied with sustainable electricity. In addition, you will find a large number of e-charging stations on our premises, which form the basis for our almost fully electric vehicle fleet.
A brine-to-water heat pump also heats the new building, which will be occupied in 2023 and consists of a 2,000-square-meter production hall and a 750-square-meter office complex, entirely with geothermal energy. The conscious use of energy is also illustrated by the use of efficient LED lighting throughout the company.
In addition to the efficient and sustainable use of energy, saving resources plays a major role. An in-house recycling plant enables surplus plastics to be reused.
