composite material made of paper

The product lines of composite materials with paper are compatible with the remanufacturing and recycling process.

The applied coatings are primarily based on starch. This is obtained from corn,

Potatoes and other tubers with a high starch content, as well as sugar cane.

These so-called bio-polymers represent a small percentage (approximately 2%), since the larger part of the coating is based on cellulose.

The materials are not taken from the food cycle. They come from the remains or waste of the corn plant. During screening, uncrumbled or larger elements are retained so that only fibers and fillers are used in production.

Characteristics

✓ high strength
✓ made from 100% cellulose
✓ high transparency
✓ permeable to water vapor (keeps the aroma of food longer)

terms

Cellulose is the material from which some biodegradable products such as glassine paper are made. Cellulose base is a collective term for fibers (pulp fibers). the fibers are mostly derived from cotton and linen.
